India Rubber Expo 2026 Gains Strong Momentum on Day 2 with Dignitary Visits and Global Industry Participation

New Delhi, Apr 09: The 12th edition of India Rubber Expo (IRE 2026), Asia’s largest rubber industry exhibition, currently underway at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi, continued to build strong momentum on its second day with notable dignitary visits, vibrant industry participation, and dynamic business engagement.

Organized by the All India Rubber Industries Association, the four-day mega event (April 7–10) commenced with a grand inaugural ceremony graced by the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, marking a prestigious opening to the highly anticipated global platform. With the theme “Innovate, Connect, Transform”, IRE 2026 continues to reinforce its position as a premier hub for driving innovation, collaboration, and growth in the rubber and allied industries.

On Day 2, the expo witnessed the visit of Honourable Shri Praveen Khandelwal, Member of Lok Sabha, who engaged with exhibitors and explored cutting-edge technologies and solutions showcased at the event. This was followed by the visit of Honourable Shri Om Prakash Sharma, Member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, who appreciated the scale of participation and the industry’s contribution to economic growth.

The exhibition floor remained abuzz with activity as leading manufacturers, innovators, and global stakeholders showcased advanced products and solutions, while engaging in meaningful discussions around business expansion, sustainability, and future-ready technologies. The event continues to serve as a strong platform for fostering partnerships and unlocking new opportunities across domestic and international markets.

In addition to the exhibition, IRE 2026 is hosting a series of conference sessions and workshops, further strengthening industry knowledge exchange and engagement.

Adding a vibrant cultural dimension to the business-centric event, IRE 2026 is also curating three Grand Gala Theme Nights, celebrating global networking with Indian hospitality. The opening evening on April 7 featured “Exhibitors Nite”, themed around the golden era, with a live symphonic performance by The Quavers Chambers Choir, Shillong. The celebrations continue on April 8 with “Sufiyaana Shaam”, an evening of soulful Sufi music by Swaraag Fusion from Jaipur. The cultural series will conclude on April 9 with “Colors of India”, showcasing Indian culture, cuisine, and a special performance by Rohanpreet Singh & Band.

Sharing his thoughts, Vipan Mehta, Chairman, IRE 2026, said, “India Rubber Expo 2026 is witnessing exceptional participation from across the globe, reaffirming India’s growing prominence in the rubber industry.
