The Wealth Company, SEBI jointly address Investor Awareness Campaign in Bihar's Munger; over 300 participants join the initiative

Munger, Bihar, 04th November 2026:The Wealth Company, part of Pantomath Group, and SEBI jointly addressed an Investor Awareness Campaign in Munger, Bihar, which witnessed an encouraging response with participation from over 300 attendees. The initiative aimed to strengthen financial literacy, enhance awareness of the securities market and mutual fund ecosystem, and promote informed, responsible and disciplined investment practices among participants.

The enthusiastic participation reflects the growing interest in financial awareness and investment opportunities beyond India's major urban centers. This momentum is also visible in Bihar's expanding investment landscape. The state's mutual fund assets under management reached approximately ₹89,960 crore in August 2026, marking nearly 24-fold growth since March 2014. Further, Bihar had approximately 60.11 lakh unique registered stock market investors in FY26, compared with 50.85 lakh in FY25, registering growth of over 18%. These trends highlight the growing relevance of investor education and the need to deepen awareness about regulated financial products, particularly across emerging markets and smaller cities.

The campaign covered key aspects of personal finance and investing, including the fundamentals of mutual funds, the role of systematic investment plans (SIPs) or Sarva Iccha Purti as The Wealth Company calls it, the importance of asset allocation, risk assessment, long-term wealth creation and the need to distinguish between regulated investment products and unregistered investment schemes. Participants were also sensitized to investor protection mechanisms, the importance of understanding product suitability and the need to avoid investment decisions driven by speculation or misinformation.

Ms. Sneha Jalan, AGM, SEBI, said, "Investor awareness and education are critical to building a transparent, inclusive and resilient securities market. As participation in financial markets expands across the country, it is equally important that investors understand their rights and the risks involved and the safeguards available to them. Initiatives such as this Investor outreach program in Munger, arranged by the Wealth Company AMC provides an opportunity to engage directly with communities, address their concerns and equip them with the knowledge to make informed investment decisions. We encourage investors to deal only with SEBI-registered intermediaries and access verified information before making investment decisions."

Speaking about the initiative,MsMadhu Lunawat, Founder, MD & CEO, The Wealth Company Mutual Fund, said,"The response in Munger, with over 300 people participating, was truly encouraging. It tells us that the desire to create wealth is not limited to big cities. People across Bharat want to understand how money works and how they can build a better financial future for their families.

But before we ask people to invest, we must help them understand investing. Financial literacy is not just about knowing where to put your money; it is about making informed decisions with confidence.

At The Wealth Company, we want to take this understanding beyond the metros and into the heart of Bharat. Because the opportunity to participate in India’s wealth creation journey should not depend on which city you live in.”

The campaign also highlighted The Wealth Company's investor outreach initiatives, MF Didi and MF Dost, which are designed to make mutual fund awareness more accessible and relatable across diverse communities.

Through MF Didi, The Wealth Company seeks to encourage women's participation in financial awareness and investment conversations, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to take informed financial decisions. MF Dost aims to simplify mutual fund concepts and foster greater awareness through accessible, community-oriented engagement, helping individuals understand the basics of investing and the importance of financial discipline.

Building on its initiative in Munger, The Wealth Company is set to extend its investor awareness campaign, jointly with SEBI, to Lucknow, Raipur and the Andaman Islands. Through these sustained outreach efforts, the Company remains committed to deepening financial literacy, promoting informed investment behavior and making knowledge of regulated financial products more accessible across India's emerging markets.
