Ashok Leyland Reports September 2026 Sales Performance

Oct 01: Ashok Leyland reported total vehicle sales of 24,049 units in September 2026 across domestic and export markets, compared with 18,813 units in September 2025, registering a 28% increase.

The company’s total M&HCV sales stood at 16,188 units in September 2026, up 37% from 11,808 units in the same month last year. M&HCV truck sales increased 44% to 13,244 units from 9,208 units, while M&HCV bus sales rose 13% to 2,944 units from 2,600 units.

LCV sales stood at 7,861 units in September 2026, compared with 7,005 units in September 2025, recording a 12% increase.

For the cumulative period, Ashok Leyland recorded total vehicle sales of 1,13,440 units across domestic and export markets, compared with 93,354 units during the corresponding period of the previous year, representing a 22% increase.

Cumulative M&HCV sales stood at 71,601 units, up 22% from 58,789 units. M&HCV truck sales increased 34% to 57,755 units, while M&HCV bus sales declined 12% to 13,846 units.

Cumulative LCV sales stood at 41,839 units, compared with 34,565 units in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a 21% increase.

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland recorded total vehicle sales of 22,157 units in September 2026, compared with 17,209 units in September 2025, an increase of 29%. Cumulative domestic sales stood at 1,05,877 units, compared with 85,559 units, representing a 24% increase.
