Taking place at Poona Club – Cedar Oaks from 7:00 PM onwards, the event is centred around the theme “Traditional Storytelling, Modern Meanings and Messages – A Toolkit for Today.”
Led by renowned Applied Theatre expert Aanand Chabukswar, this session offers a unique opportunity to explore how traditional stories, once told around tribal fires or in village courtyards, can serve as tools for healing, transformation, and leadership in today’s modern world. With over 30 years of experience in shaping lives through storytelling, Aanand brings insights from his work across Europe and India, including orphanages, slums, universities, and more. He is the founder of the Applied Theatre School and author of Creative Rites of the Recovering Mind.
The evening will begin with an open-ended conversation, sparked by Deepak Sood, and will flow organically, without a formal stage or slides, encouraging shared experiences and collective reflection. It’s not a seminar; it’s Samvaad – a melting pot of ideas, curiosity, and connection.
