National, 13th January 2024 – Sri Mandir, India’s leading devotional app, has unveiled the #HarGharKumbh campaign, a heartfelt initiative led by renowned actor Gurmeet Choudhary as the face of the campaign. This initiative brings the divine essence of Mahakumbh 2025 into every home, seamlessly blending the timeless beauty of tradition with the ease of modern technology. Through virtual rituals, sacred Chadhava offerings, Gangajal delivery, and Mahadaan services, Sri Mandir ensures that devotees who are unable to participate in person for any reason can still take part in the spiritual sanctity of Mahakumbh and stay connected to its blessings from the comfort of their homes.
The campaign brings to life the sacred essence of Mahakumbh through three heartfelt TVCs, each featuring Gurmeet Choudhary. These commercials beautifully capture the profound connection devotees share with Mahakumbh, emphasizing how life’s responsibilities—such as work, exams, or personal commitments—can sometimes prevent them from traveling to this sacred event. By focusing on unique aspects like Triveni Sangam Jal, Pooja during Mahakumbh, and Mahadaan, each film highlights how Sri Mandir bridges tradition and technology, allowing devotees to stay spiritually connected to Mahakumbh from their homes. The Mahadaan TVC, in particular, portrays a touching scene where a mother prepares a thali and places it before her smartphone. On the screen, a saint at the Mahakumbh reverently accepts the offering, as the mother bows in prayer, her face radiant with devotion. Gurmeet Choudhary then appears in traditional attire, delivering a heartfelt message: “Mahakumbh ke punya ko ab aap tak layega Sri Mandir app. Ab mahadaan karein – vastra daan, bhojan daan, aur anna daan – ghar baithe baithe, seedhe Mahakumbh ke pavitra bhoomi tak.” Together, the TVCs emphasize how Sri Mandir allows devotees to stay spiritually connected to Mahakumbh through virtual rituals, sacred offerings, and acts of charity.
Speaking about the campaign, Prashant Sachan, Founder of the Sri Mandir app, said, “At Sri Mandir, our mission is to bridge the gap between tradition and technology, bringing devotional access closer to every household. The #HarGharKumbh campaign beautifully captures the sacred essence of Mahakumbh 2025 through three heartfelt TVCs, each showcasing unique aspects of this divine event. Collaborating with Gurmeet Choudhary has been truly inspiring, as his sincerity and devotion perfectly embody the spirit of the campaign. Whether it’s the purity of Triveni Sangam Jal, the sanctity of Pooja rituals, or the generosity of Mahadaan, these films reflect the timeless values of faith, unity, and devotion. By making these experiences accessible through the Sri Mandir app, we aim to ensure that every devotee feels spiritually connected to Mahakumbh, no matter where they are”
Speaking about the campaign, Gurmeet Choudhary said, “Being part of the #HarGharKumbh campaign is incredibly special to me. Mahakumbh is a symbol of devotion, unity, and cultural richness. With Sri Mandir, it’s heartening to see how millions of users who might not be able to visit Prayagraj, can still connect to this holy tradition from anywhere in the world. This initiative truly shows how technology can bridge gaps and keep us rooted in faith”
#HarGharKumbh campaign aims to break down barriers of distance and physical limitations, enabling people to stay connected to their spirituality. Mahakumbh, a once-in-12-year event, holds immense cultural and spiritual significance, symbolizing unity, faith, and purification. Through this campaign, Sri Mandir ensures that no devotee misses out on its blessings, whether they are too far away, unable to travel, or constrained by other limitations.
