New Delhi, June 4, 2025 — On a sun-drenched Sunday afternoon, Comet, India’s fearless indie sneaker brand, brought a full scoop of nostalgia, street culture, and sneaker heat to the capital with its ice cream parlour-themed pop-up, launching its latest drop: “Extra Toppings Only.”
Held at Basant Lok Market, Vasant Vihar, the event saw sneakerheads, streetwear lovers, and curious passersby flock to a retro-styled activation complete with free scoops from Cold Love, pastel visuals, and a crowd-thrilling performance by Delhi rapper Chaar Diwaari, who stepped into the role of Head Server for the day. He served up cones and tracks with equal flair, creating a high-energy moment that captured the spirit of the brand’s latest launch.
Designed as a playful homage to retro ice cream parlours, Extra Toppings Only features soft-serve swirls, waffle-cone textures, sprinkle-inspired overlays, and pastel colourways that pop like candy. Built on Comet’s signature silhouette, the sneaker merges streetwear attitude with a sugar-high sense of fun, making it both wearable and collectable.
Concept Note
Extra Toppings Only is a celebration of over-the-top indulgence, much like the ice cream sundaes that inspired it. The sneaker’s multi-textured upper, bold overlays, and candy-hued colour scheme mirror the whimsical, maximalist energy of summer treats. It’s designed for the bold, for those who live life in full colour and never shy away from standing out.
